Tell us what support is needed
Company, transport, errands, community access, practical peer support, routine support, or overnight reassurance.
Support Now
Support Now is a Rush Connect & Care service pathway for people who may need practical company-style support, community access, transport, practical peer support, or overnight reassurance without the large-provider feel.
The long-term vision is simple: make safe, suitable support easier to request, closer to calling on a trusted steady person when life needs a bit of backup.
Current stage
This is not yet a live instant-dispatch marketplace. It is the first public version for testing demand, collecting support requests, and finding suitable workers.
How it will work
Company, transport, errands, community access, practical peer support, routine support, or overnight reassurance.
Support type, urgency, risk, funding, location, worker suitability, and boundaries are checked before matching.
The aim is a practical match: someone calm, reliable, nearby, and appropriate for the person and support need.
Details, pricing, boundaries, and next steps are confirmed before support begins, with feedback after support.
Support types
A steady person for walks, errands, appointments, groceries, coffee, social connection, or getting out of the house.
Support that feels relaxed and practical for people who may respond better to trust, activity, and conversation.
Sleepover-style support where an appropriate worker provides a calm presence so someone feels less alone overnight.
The future version may include live availability, location-based matching, worker profiles, request tracking, payment handling, and ratings. The first version is deliberately simpler: collect the right information, protect safety, test demand, and build a worker network before adding automation.
Support Now is not crisis support, emergency response, clinical therapy, medical care, behaviour support, or a replacement for urgent services. NDIS-related support must also fit the participant, plan, funding type, and lawful support rules.
