NDIS Support
Rush Connect & Care offers smaller-scale NDIS support work across Melbourne for self-managed and plan-managed participants of all ages and backgrounds. Support is shaped around individual goals, routines and day-to-day needs, with clear communication for participants, families, plan managers, support coordinators, NDIS service providers and other service providers seeking something more personal than a large-provider model.
Rush Connect & Care currently operates as an unregistered NDIS provider. Support is best suited to self-managed and plan-managed participants where the participant, family, support coordinator or plan manager has confirmed the support can be purchased from an unregistered provider under the participant’s current plan.
Service area
Rush Connect & Care provides practical one-to-one NDIS support across Melbourne, with a focus on the inner and northern suburbs. Support may include community access, routine building, transport, appointments, social connection, overnight reassurance, and practical goal follow-through.

NDIS information
Rush Connect & Care can support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants where the support is appropriate for the participant’s goals, plan, and funding type. The service is intentionally one-to-one, practical, and relationship-based, and may include community access, routine building, appointment support, social connection, confidence building, and practical goal follow-through.
As an unregistered provider, Rush Connect & Care is not suitable for every funding arrangement. Participants using NDIA-managed funding generally need registered providers. Participants, nominees, support coordinators and plan managers should confirm the funding pathway before booking ongoing support.
NDIS rules and planning processes are changing, including clearer rules about what NDIS funding can be used for and staged changes to planning and support needs assessments. Participants, families, support coordinators, plan managers, NDIS service providers and other service providers are encouraged to check the participant’s current plan, funding periods, and support categories before booking ongoing support. Where appropriate, Rush Connect & Care can review the support approach with the participant and their support network so the service continues to meet the client’s needs and remain focused on the individual’s best interests.
Rush Connect & Care works in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct. This service is not clinical therapy, crisis support, emergency response, behaviour support, or medical care. The focus is reliable, high-quality practical support that helps participants work toward meaningful outcomes.
Funding paths
For plan managers and support coordinators
Support is built around fit, goals, participant choice, and the value of a steady one-to-one relationship. Referrals are accepted only where the service is appropriate, with no pressure around bundled or unsuitable supports.
Current rates are set below current NDIA price limits. For plan-managed participants, invoicing and service delivery are structured with reference to current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, with the relevant support item, funding fit and claiming pathway confirmed before ongoing support begins.
The service combines lived experience with a Diploma of Business, NDIS Worker Screening, and clear referral documents so due diligence is straightforward for plan managers, support coordinators, NDIS service providers and other service providers, and families.
The service is guided by the NDIS Code of Conduct and delivered as a small, transparent sole trader service with privacy, honesty, fair pricing, and safe practice at the centre.

Keep it simple
Reach out with a short message and we can work out the best starting point. NDIS support and practical peer support are separate service pathways. If your enquiry is about NDIS support, we can discuss goals, location, funding type, and whether one-to-one practical support is the right fit.
Note: Rates and minimum shift lengths can be confirmed during enquiry, depending on the support required and location.
