NDIS funding guide

Using your NDIS plan with Rush Connect & Care

If you are self-managed or plan-managed, getting started is simple. NDIS support can be discussed separately from practical peer support. Fit depends on the participant’s goals, support needs, location, and whether a one-to-one support worker approach is appropriate.

Rush Connect & Care currently operates as an unregistered provider. This page is most relevant for self-managed and plan-managed participants who are able to use an unregistered provider under their current NDIS plan.

Plan types

How funding can work

Self-managed participants

  • You choose the provider you want to work with
  • Invoices are paid directly and claimed through your plan
  • Support can stay flexible around your goals

Plan-managed participants

  • Invoices can be sent to your plan manager
  • The admin stays clear and straightforward
  • Support can stay aligned with your goals and plan

NDIA-managed participants

  • Usually need to use registered NDIS providers
  • May not be the right pathway for RCC as an unregistered provider
  • Check with the NDIA, nominee or support coordinator first

Simple process

How getting started works

1

Reach out

Send a short enquiry about the participant, goals, and the kind of support you are looking for.

2

Confirm the fit

We can discuss whether the support needed is a good match and how funding would work.

3

Begin support

Once the fit is clear, support can begin in a calm and practical way that suits the participant.
