Practical one-to-one support for participants, families, and referrers who need clear communication, consistency, and trusted support pathways.
Rush Connect & Care is a smaller-scale sole trader service offering practical NDIS support work and peer support across Melbourne. The service is built around a practical, one-to-one approach that feels grounded, relatable, steady and personal, particularly for participants, families and referrers seeking an alternative to large-provider environments.
NDIS support is available for participants of all ages and backgrounds, from younger participants through to older adults, with flexible support tailored to individual goals, routines and day-to-day needs.
Rush Connect & Care currently operates as an unregistered NDIS provider. This can suit self-managed and plan-managed participants where the support is appropriate for the participant’s plan, goals, funding type and preferences.
Backed by lived experience, NDIS training and a community-focused approach, Rush Connect & Care aims to provide support that feels genuine, approachable and reliable.
Local NDIS support
Rush Connect & Care provides practical one-to-one NDIS support across Melbourne, with a focus on the inner and northern suburbs. Support may include community access, routine building, transport, appointments, social connection, overnight reassurance, and practical goal follow-through.

Why the model works
Rush Connect & Care adopts a simple and direct way of delivering quality support.
A strong fit for people who benefit from relatability, lived understanding, and a calmer style of practical support.
Support can include routine, motivation, appointments, community access, confidence building, and steady follow-through.
The service is backed by a Diploma of Business, NDIS Worker Screening, and clear documentation that gives families and referrers confidence.
NDIS support remains available for self-managed and plan-managed participants across ages and backgrounds where an unregistered, smaller-scale provider is the right fit. The referral pathway is also clear for parents and carers, support coordinators, plan managers, NDIS service providers and other service providers looking for a relationship-based option.

For support workers
If you are a grounded, reliable support worker with relevant experience in practical peer support, mental health, community access, NDIS support, or your own lived experience, I would love to hear from you. Lived experience can be a real strength when someone is stable, self-aware, ready to support others, and able to work with clear professional boundaries.
